A downloadable game

A tiny game for the Playdate. Made with love by greg & peter for the  Uncrank'd Pre-Summer Game Jam

The desert heat is finally dying down. Use the golden hour wisely before the chill sweeps the wastes.

You are a sole surveyor of an alien land covered in abandoned(?) domes. Use the desolate, dome-encrusted landscape to orient yourself and pinpoint your location on the map. The closer you get the more sectors you get to explore. Who knows what you'll find. Who knows what will find you.

Instructions

  • Use the crank to rotate the view in Observation Mode. Try to get your bearings. Press A to switch to Map Mode.
  • In Map Mode use the D-Pad to select a position that reflects what you see in Observation Mode.
  • The map will show you how close you got. As long as you have error margin remaining (as shown at the top of the map) you can go on to survey a new sector the following day.

Nice game! Totally the kind of game I am looking for when picking up my playdate. Great to play a few fast rounds.

Thank you for playing!

And I totally agree. While I also like some more complex games on the playdate, most of the time I just end up playing Root Bear :D
